 So my first thoughts when watching the video were I didn't know what to expect or what exactly was going on. Then I thought it was going to be just another love story kind of video. It started off with a lonely butterfly which was the female in the film. Then a sailor comes out of nowhere and it looks like they are about to fall in love because of the intercourse scene. But like every real sailor they can never just stick around because they have a job to do on the boat so he had to leave back to his ship.

 She realizes he has to leave and she's going to be left alone once he starts to get his clothes back on and you can hear the emotions start to change in the music. Before he leaves he gives her a kiss and the music player to give her a little hope that he will come back for her and won't forget about her. After he hands it over the sailor runs away from her like a rabbit being chased by a dog as if he wanted nothing more from her. The film heats up when she finds out she's been knocked up by the sailor, so she and her baby wait around for daddy to come back. The sailor pulls up with what looks to be his new family and a new lady friend, then tears away the child from her which basically represented tearing out her heart. It destroyed her.

 When the sailor smashed all her hopes the only way she could find comfort was death. You can fell it in the music that she's about to do the worst to herself. In anguish, the girl runs out of the studio and tears her body into pieces.
